Safari Holiday Kenya

Game Viewing
Elephant Pepper

Has the wild animal lover in you always longed for a close encounter with a lion, a cheetah or a leopard?

The most popular time to visit Kenya is during the dry season, which runs from June to October. If you’re keen to catch a glimpse of the annual wildebeest migration then head for the Maasai Mara between these months, where you’ll be able to see the herds crossing the Mara River in search of fresh grazing. If you’d rather visit earlier in the year, then February is a good month. In February you can witness large numbers of wildebeest and zebra gathering on the plains of the southern Serengeti to give birth. What could be more spectacular or far-removed from what you’ve known so far in life?

A safari holiday in Kenya is often described as being a ‘once in a lifetime’ holiday experience. There are various parts of the world which dazzle and inspire the senses quite easily, and Kenya must be one of them. Yet one person’s idea of a once in a lifetime holiday experience may be another’s idea of a rather uninspiring sojourn.

The important thing is to open the mind, be spontaneous and embrace new things, things previously unfamiliar to you, whether it’s watching the flamingos and rhinos at the Lake Nakuru National Park or witnessing the birth of a zebra, seeing and experiencing the unfamiliar is not only transforming but it will expand your global perspective.
