Detailed Itinerary For 10 Days Uganda Safari
Day 1: Transfer from Kampala From Entebbe
Bushtroop Tours and safaris expert driver guide will pick you up from the Entebbe International Airport, brief you about your 10 days Uganda safari, then transfer you to your booked hotel of residence in either Entebbe town or Kampala.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Early in the morning, you will have breakfast, thereafter depart for Murchison falls national Park, passing by the famous Luwero Triangle, and then into Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Masindi for Rhino tracking. You will have a lunch break in Masindi town, then proceed to Murchison Falls National Park, where you will arrive at your hotel in the evening for dinner and an overnight.
Day 3: Morning Game Drive and Boat Ride
On this day 2 of the 10 days Uganda safari, breakfast will served early enough, after then you will leave for the game drive along the northern banks of river Nile. Expect to see animals like elephants, lions, giraffes, hartebeest among others as well as some bird species.
Return for lunch, and proceed for the afternoon boat ride to the bottom of the falls. You will be overwhelmed with how the water forces it’s self out of the rocks. In addition, you will view hippos and other animals drinking water from the river banks.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Upon having breakfast, you will be driven for about 7-8 hours to Kibale National park. Enroute, you will view the local homesteads, green countryside and local farms along the Albertine Rift escarpment as well as having Lunch.
Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight
Day 5: Chimpanzee Trekking and visiting the Bigodi Swamp
The days starts with an early breakfast, then proceed for briefing about the rules and regulations at the Kibale National Park headquarter. Thereafter in the company of rangers, you along with your tracking group will enter the jungle to search for chimpanzees.
Chimpanzee tracking usually takes between 2-5 depending on how far they have moved from the previous locations. Included in the time range is the maximum 1 hour spent in the presence of the chimpanzee, after when you will return to the park headquarters for lunch.
In the afternoon, go then for a swamp nature walk at the Bigodi wetland sanctuary, where you might encounter more primates such as colobus monkeys, mongose, many butterflies and bird species.

Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After an early breakfast, embark on your journey to Queen Elizabeth national park, passing through the Crater Lakes areas you enjoy impressive landscape and rolling hills.
Arrive in the afternoon for checkin at the Hotel. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel
Day 7: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
After an early wake, grab a cup of tea and snacks, then set off for the morning game drive where you might spot animals including buffaloes, lions, elephants, Antelopes among others and various bird species. variety of bird species. Return to the lodge/hotel for lunch, after then you will go for an exciting boat cruise on the kazinga channel. You will will encounter hippos, buffalos, herds of elephant’s drinking water and more birds.
End the day with dinner and an overnight rest in the lodge.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park
Have breakfast in the morning and depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Enroute, you will go through the park for the last game drive as you exit the park through the Isasha sector that is famous for tree climbing Lions, not forgetting Lunch in one of the restaurants along the way, before you reach the Park .
Upon arrival, checking, have dinner and overnight there.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking
This long awaited day begins with an early morning breakfast at the hotel, briefing at the headquarters, allocation of gorilla group to each tracker, then the rangers lead each group to the thick forest to search for the Gorillas.
Gorilla trekking ranges between 2-8 hours, including 1 hour of staying in the presence of the endangered Mountain Gorillas.
Return for lunch and later in the evening, visit the Batwa pygmies for a cultural retreat, where you will learn about their history, enjoy their dance performance and their hunting skills
Day 10: Transfer to Kampala
After your breakfast, early in the morning, you will along with the driver journey back to kampala or Entebbe International Airport to catch up with your home flight, otherwise you can spend another night.
