Detailed Itinerary for 11 days ultimate Kenya honeymoon safari & Zanzibar
Day 1: Nairobi
Be prepared to meet a Bushtroop tours and Safari driver guide, who will transfer you to Norfolk hotel to relax ahead of your safari adventure.
Stay: Fairmont The Norfolk Hotel (or similar).
Day 2: Nairobi to Mount Kenya
Have breakfast, then set off northwards to Mount Kenya – Africa’s second highest mountain – Arriving at Mount Kenya Safari Club where you will stay.
Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

Day 3: Mount Kenya
Wake up early in the morning for breakfast, then later, leave with a packed lunch for an extended morning game drive to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy- the only place where the endangered chimpanzees can be seen. It also hosts the largest number of black rhinos in East Africa, but also aplace where you can glimpse the world’s two remaining northern white rhino.

Day 4: Mount Kenya to Lake Elmenteita
You will travel to Lake Elmenteita, after your morning breakfast, reaching in time for lunch at Lake Elementait Serenca camp. This sapphire-blue soda lake is one among the Eastern Rift Valley lakes, located between Naivasha and Nakuru. The 48,000-acre Soysambu conservancy on the west of the lake covers 2/3 of its shoreline and is the only nesting site for the great white pelican in East Africa.
The conservancy protects over 450 bird species in total. Rothschild giraffe are also found here while other wildlife includes eland, warthog and zebra.
Stay: Lake Elmenteita Serena Camp (or similar)

Day 5: Lake Nakuru national park
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru National park, which offers one of the best chances to see Black & White Rhinos as well as migratory birds. You will enjoy the afternoon game drive as you take in the views from the park’s viewpoints.
Day 6: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara
You will be transferred to Loldia airstrip for your next flight to the Musiara airstrip in Maasai Mara. You will reach in time for lunch at Governors camp. In the evening, you will visit the Open plains of Maasai Mara on a game drive to see big cats and the Big Five – and memorable nights spent under canvas.
Return to Little Governors’ Camp (or similar) for dinner and overnight

Day 7: Maasai Mara
In the morning,take an optional hot-air balloon ride over the plains at sunrise, and wherever you land, you will enjoy Champagne breakfast, one of the most iconic experiences in Kenya (though it requires prior booking). Afterwards, head further for game drives in the Mara, discovering more about the lives of its resident big cats and other wildlife.
Stay: Little Governors’ Camp (or similar)

Day 8: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Transfer to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport, where you will connect to Zanzibar, to relax for 2 nights and have memorable fun vacation with amazing and beautiful landscapes.Lunch will be enroute, while dinner and overnight at Breezes Beach Club & Spa- a charming and romantic.
Day 9-10: Zanzibar
Enjoy this paradise of beautiful beaches of white sands and turquoise water of the Indian Ocean. Otherwise, you can opt for extra activities such as a day tour in Stone Town (includes Old Town guided tour, Spice Tour and Prison Island – but without Lunch). Another suggestion is the Jozani Forest tour.
Return for dinner and overnight at Breezes Beach Club & Spa is charming and romantic.
Day 11: Zanzibar
Spend the last hours of your journey relaxing. Afterwards, you will have a transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your international flight.
