Detailed Itinerary for 13 days Honeymoon Safaris in East Africa
DAY 1- Arrival in Nairobi
Our expert safari driver guide from Bushtroop tours & safaris will pick you up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and transfer you to the exquisite Hemingways Nairobi Hotel, where you can enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.
DAY 2 – Nairobi – Amboseli
You will have breakfast early in the morning, then proceed to Wilson Airport for your flight to Amboseli National Park. On arrival at Amboseli, you will be transported to Tortilis Camp for lunch, after then by an afternoon game drive to see the park’s huge herds of elephants and Mount Kilimanjaro in the distance. A traditional bush dinner will be served at the camp for you at Tortilis Camp
DAY 3 -Amboseli National Park
In the morning, you set off for an exciting game drive with your tracker and guide after breakfast in the camp. Spread over a vast expanse, Amboseli is well known for its huge herds of elephants as well as other wildlife including giraffes, zebras, cheetahs and hundreds of bird species.
Return to your camp for lunch and then embark on a walking safari to get up close to the region’s smaller species. On your way back, stop for a relaxing sundowner, watching the sun go down over Amboseli with your favourite drink in hand.
Dinner and an overnight at Tortilis Camp.
DAY 4-5: Amboseli – Loisaba Conservancy, Laikipia
Have breakfast, and enjoy a morning game drive along the way to the airstrip. Board your Sky Safari flight and make your way to the Loisaba Conservancy in Kenya’s Laikipia. En route to Loisaba Tented Camp – your accommodation in the region – enjoy a short game drive and then arrive at camp for lunch.
Head out, after lunch to explore this 57,000-acre wildlife conservancy with its diverse wildlife. You’ll have plenty of opportunities to discover in this region at length during your planned excursions over the next two days, such as a walking safari with a traditional Samburu guide on the next morning followed by another afternoon game drive or a visit with the anti-poaching sniffer dog team. Enjoy a delightful sundowner in the bush as you watch animals return to their nesting grounds in the distance.
Dinner is a magical experience under the starlit African night sky, overnight at Loisaba Tented Camp.
DAY 6-7: Loisaba Conservancy, Laikipia – Masai Mara National Park
Spend the next few moments at the park exploring the golden grasslands of Africa, then fly to the most iconic national park – the Masai Mara. Home to the big five animals lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and African buffalo. The wide expanse of the park allows easy wildlife spotting even from a great distance.
Enjoy the next days exploring parts of the park with your guide and tracker in the morning and afternoon game drives and visit a Maasai village and be warmly welcomed by some of the local people. Dining options are enchanting and diverse – from picnic lunches in the bush to delightful sun downers and dinner under the vast starlit sky.

DAY 8-10 Masai Mara National Park – Serengeti National Park
After breakfast, board your next flight to Serengeti National Park, “the jewel in the crown of Tanzania”. wide golden grasslands await you, and home to a plethora of animals that are closely spotted on day and night game drives.
Meet your driver guide who will transfer you to your camp for a quick lunch, later, you have the chance to set out and explore the Serengeti on a game drive with a skilled guide, and then return to camp for a warm bonfire and dinner.
Enjoy the rest of days exploring the serengeti, spotting the big five animals over these vast plains on exciting morning and afternoon game drives, sundowner picnics, and walking safaris with your guide and naturalist.
Overnight Serengeti Pioneer or Migration Camp.
DAY 11 -12 Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Crater
In the morning, proceed Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will spend the next two days exploring the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater.
You will hear tales of the local Masai’s favorites, from lion prides to baby elephants, from your experienced local guide and tracker whilst enjoying full-day game drives accompanied by bush lunches and magnificent sundowners.
Dinner is available at your camp, served under a beautiful starlit African night sky.
Overnight The Manor at Ngorongoro
DAY 13 Serengeti – Arusha
Have breakfast first in your camp, exit the park with game drive enroute on your way to the airstrip. Next, you will board your flight to Arusha and be transferred to Arusha Coffee Lodge or Kilimanjaro International Airport following your international departure.
