Detailed 6 Days Rwanda Gorillas & Serengeti Safari
Day 1: Arusha- Ngorongoro Crater
Upon arrival, you will proceed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will arrive in time for lunch at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge. Thereafter, embark on an afternoon drive to Ngorongoro Crater Floor, for an awessome game viewing. Return to the Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge for dinner and overnight
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater- Serengeti
Breakfast will be served early, after then, you will set off for an enroute game drive with picnic lunch as you proceed to Serengeti National Park. You will will arrive in the evening for dinner & and an overnight at Serengeti Tortilis tented Camp.
Day 3: Serengeti Full day
Spend a full day in Serengeti National Park, enjoying game viewing drives in the park, with an all inclusive day picnic lunch. Return for an overnight in Serengeti Tortilis tented camp
Day 4: Serengeti-Kigali
You have breakfast early, before proceeding to Seronera Airstrip for your flight to the Kigali City in Rwanda via Tarime Airstrip, arriving Kigali to be transferred by another driver to Des Mille Collins Lodge for lunch, dinner and an overnight
Day 5: Kigali – Volcanoes National Park
Have breakfast early, then head for a sight-seeing/orientation tour of Kigali City which comprises of the Genocide Memorial Museum and the Kandt House (Museum of Natural History). Take lunch in one of the Kigali Restaurants, then after proceed to Ruhengeri area which will take about 3 hours to reach Mountain Gorilla View Lodge in the evening, for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Gorilla trekking in Volcanoes – Transfer to Kigali
Wake up early for breakfast, then after transfer to the Volcanoes National Park’s park headquarters for registration, briefing and gorilla group allocation before setting off for perfect gorilla search in the jungle. Gorilla trekking usually lasts for 2 to 6 hours with a full hour of face to face contact with gorillas. Join the driver for a transfer back to Kigali to catch up with your scheduled flight.
