8 days Jinja White water rafting, Sipi falls & Kidepo wildlife safri Uganda takes you to Jinja for a day grade 5 white water rafting, sipi falls hike in kapchorwa, and wildlife experience to spot the big five in kidepo valley National park
Day 1 – Kampala – Jinja
On arrival, a safari driver guide from Bushtroop safaris & tours will pick you up, then after transfer you to Jinja after your 8 days Rafting, sipi falls hike & Kidepo wildlife safari. Jinja city comes second after Kampala capital city in terms of size, and is located on the Northern shore of Lake Victoria, close by the magnificent Ripon falls. You will visit the Bujagali Falls where you will go for a relaxing boat cruise on the beautiful Nile. Thereafter visit the scenic and cultural Ssezibwa Falls and the stop by the Mabira Forest to sight many primates like the mangabey and the red tailed monkey. You will also see various butterfly and bird species. You can get a chance to go zip-lining in the forest as well as a short nature walk before proceeding to preserved lode for a dinner and along night sleep. Later in the
Day 2: Hike the three falls of Sipi
Following your breakfast, proceed for an exciting white water rafting trip, or rather go for a kayaking excursion. Lunch will be served when in middle of your rafting session after which you will finish in the evening with a goodbye babeque celebration
Return to the lodge for an overnight, after taking dinner.
Day 3 – Sipi Falls
Early in the korning after breakfast, you will drive to Mbale then to kapchorwa, where you will hike up the three falls which make up the breathtaking Sipi Falls. If time accepts, you can also visit the local coffee farms and households, so as to learn about the entire process of how coffee moves from the farm to the cup. You have the chance to take part in several scheduled charity activities and then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 4 – Kidepo Valley National Park
Rise up to a very good taste of breakfast, after then head north to the remote Kidepo Valley National Park. Enroute you will enjoy a brief stopover to enjoy Lunch as well as the beautiful scenery of the winding road. You will pass through Soroti Town and Kaabong.
Kidepo Valley National Park has a wide number of wildlife especially big cats, buffalo, ostriche, zebra, and many birds. Check in at your booked lodge for dinner and an overnight sleep.
Day 5 – Full Day Kidepo Valley National Park
Catch up the early risers in the morning, then return to the lodge for mid-morning breakfast, thereafter embark on a long game drive to look out for animals among others lions, cheetah, ostrich, zebra, giraffe, elephant, and buffalo. You will also have the opportunity to take a short hike that will give you a spectacular view of the flat never ending landscape. Birding is also available since the park has a nimber of bird species. Return to the lodge , and head on to visit the locals; the Dodoth and Karamojongs; nomadic pastoralists who are almost unaffected by civilization and who live in their traditional lifestyles. You will learn about their lifestyle firsthand as well as watching some traditional dancing skills. Later in the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and then settle in for dinner and an overnight.
Day 6 : Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Hit the road to the most beautiful protected Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda. You will have the chance to stop over in Gulu Town for lunch, then proceed to the park entering through the Tangi Gate. You will visit the magnificent falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile River being forced through a seven meter crevice; thundering 45 meters beneath in a series of cascades that can be seen from different viewpoints.
Proceed to check in at the lodge for dinner & overnight
Day 7 – Whole day Murchison Falls National Park
On this day 7, you will drive to the Delta area, where you catch great glimpse of wildlife amiong others giraffe, elephant, hartebeest, lion, warthog, kob, jackal, orbis, waterbuck, monkey and leopard. A number of savannah woodland birds are also available. In the early afternoon, you will go back to the lodge, relax, have lunch and later go for a boat cruise on the Nile. Game viewing on this cruise will be in nearby quarters where you get an opportunity to see hippos, crocodile, buffalo, elephant and a variety of water birds. Return to the lodge later in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 8 – Kampala
Check out after breakfast, and depart for kampala, ehere you will be dropped either at the hotel or at the airport
