8 Days Samburu/ Mount Kenya/ Lake Nakuru/ Maasai Mara Lodge Safari
This safari will take you to central Kenya as you enjoy the spectacular views of the Kikuyu highlands and coffee plantations, proceeding north across the equator to the rugged landscapes of Samburu Game Reserve. After that, you drive to the tree hotel that is set on the slopes of snow capped Mount Kenya, ringed by a dense rain forest that comes alive at dusk with the myriad sounds of creatures all sizes.
After breakfast drive to the floor of the Great Rift Valley visiting Lake Nakuru National Park which has million of flamingos before heading further to Kenya’s most spectacular of all parks and reserves, Maasai Mara Game Reserve where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five ( lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant).
Detailed Itinerary for the 8 Days Samburu, Mount Kenya, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Maasai Mara Lodge Safari
Day 1; Samburu Game Reserve
Depart Nairobi for Samburu National reserve arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2; Samburu Game Reserve
Full day in Samburu with game drives (optional visits to Samburu villages). All meals and overnight at a lodge.
Day 3; Aberdare – Treetops
Breakfast at a lodge and depart for the tree hotel arriving at outspan hotel for lunch. Afternoon transfer to treetops lodge for floodlit game viewing. Dinner and overnight at treetops lodge.
Day 4; Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart treetops hotel after breakfast and leave for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru lodge.

Day 5; Lake Naivasha Hells Gate National Park;
Breakfast and depart for Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. Lake Naivasha is one of the gems in a necklace of Rift Valley lakes, has a variety of bird life and hippo colonies. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at Lake Naivasha country club.
Day 6; Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Breakfast and leave for Maasai Mara arriving in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 7; Maasai Mara Game Reserve;
An extensive morning game drive is followed by a lazy restful afternoon by the poolside or another game drive. This part of the northern Serengeti is where the great wild best migration is resident and it will be possible to see huge herds of these animals covering much of the reserve. Day 8; Nairobi;
Depart for Nairobi after breakfast, arriving at around 1400 hours.
