Detailed 12 days Kenya Wildlife and Beach safari in Mombasa

DAY 1- Arrival in Nairobi

On arrival in Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Bushtroop Safaris driver guide will transfer you to the Nairobi Hotel.

Day 2- Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

In the morning after breakfast, you will depart for Masai Mara, by road, making a brief stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint along the way.

Arrive at the safari lodge  for check in and lunch, then then later an afternoon relaxation. This will be followed by your first game drive in the evening inside the national reserve. You will return to the lodge later in the evening for dinner and your overnight stay at Zebra Plains

Day 3- Full day Masai Mara National Reserve

Have breakfast, early in the morning with a game drive inside Masai Mara. The morning game drive offers you a great opportunity of spotting some great wildlife action because the animals are usually more active when the temperatures are cooler.

Return to the lodge for mid-breakfast, then spend the rest of the morning relaxing and enjoying the facilities at the safari lodge. Otherwise, you can opt ofr full day game drive, where your breakfast and lunch will be served in the Bush, while Dinner and overnight at at Zebra Plains Lodge

Day 4- Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park

Depart Maasai mara with enroute game drive for Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive to Lake Nakuru is quite long, taking about 6 hours. You will arrive at the lodge in time for lunch. Then proceed for a safari drive inside the national park from around 4:00pm till sunset. Meals and accommodation at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Day 5 -Lake Nakuru to Amboseli National Park

Have breakfast early in the morning, then embark on a 6 hours drive to Amboseli National Park.  Lunch will be en route. Arrive in Amboseli National Park in time for an evening enroute to the lodge, then later proceed to the lodge just before sunset for checkin, dinner and overnight at Kibo safari camp.

Day 6- Amboseli National Park

With a full day to spend in Amboseli, you will have breakfast early in the morning and later on head for a full day game drive, giving you an opportunity for great wildlife photography against the backdrop of Mt Kilimanjaro. On clear days, the views are breathtaking.

Dinner and overnight at Kibo safari camp.

Day 7 – Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park

Enjoy the last morning game drive in Amboseli, before breakfast before departing for Tsavo West. You will arrive in time for lunch  at the iconic Kilaguni Serena Safari Lodge in Tsavo West National Park.

Embark on your evening game drive after relaxing in the afternoon.Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 8- Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park

On this days, you will set off for Game viewing drives with a visit to the Mzima springs. Thereafter, proceed to Tsavo East National park with game spotting and scenery viewing en route reaching in time for lunch.
Tsavo East National Park  protects various families of antelopes and gazelles as well as herds of elephants and buffaloes. By midday, you have your lunch, later after relaxing in the afternoon you enjoy more game drives till evening. Later in the evening you drive back to the lodge/camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Return to the Ashnil tented for dinner and overnight.

Day 9- Tsavo East to Mombasa

On this last day of safari, you rise up early for breakfast, then depart for  your game drive at the Tsavo East national park. Exit the park and drive down to Mombasa, arriving in time for Lunch at south coast beach resorts, especially the Swahili Beach Resort, where you will spend about 3 nights on half board arrangements.

Day 10-11-Beach at leisure

Spend the next 2 days at your own pleasure in the resort. You can decide to simply relax at the beach or otherwise join for multitude of water sports and other activities. If you would like, we can also arrange for guided tours to nearby attractions in Mombasa and surrounding areas at an extra cost.

Accommodation at Swahili beach resort is on half board arrangement.

Day 12- Mombasa to Nairobi

After breakfast at the hotel, our representative driver guide will pick you up and transfer you to the Moi International Airport in Mombasa, so that you can board your flight back to Nairobi, where you can either spend another night or otherwise  proceed to Jomo Kenyatta to catch up with your sceduled flight to return back home.
