You will leave Zanzibar and board your plane for the picturesque flight, have two nights in the Serengeti which is essential as it’s a large national park and famous for the great migration and big cats. Then visit the Ngorongoro Crater,site of the largest intact volcanic crater on the planet.
Down the steep crater walls, You will descend to a self-contained ecosystem that’s known to create its own weather. This tour gives you adequate time in the parks to view wild animals and relax while avoiding long drives.

4-Day Fly in Fly out from Zanzibar to Serengeti & Crater
DAY 1- Arusha – Serengeti National Park
Pick up from your hotel at 5 am and drive to Zanzibar Airport for your flight to Serengeti. Arrived at Seronera Airstrip in Serengeti at 9 am. Your safari guide/driver from Bushtroop tours & Safaris will be waiting then enjoy your first game drive amid the wonder of this pristine wilderness as you journey to the Serena Lodge for Lunch.
Depart at 3:00 pm for an afternoon game drive, to explore the Serengeti National Park. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Serena Lodge .
DAY 2, On safari at Serengeti National Park
You will have breakfast in the lodge and depart for your two full days game drive in the Serengeti. Serengeti National park in the Endless open plains. The Serengeti Landscape is of mesmerizing beauty. While a sizable part of the park is made up of seasonally flooded plains, forest and shrub savannah, the Serengeti is mostly about one thing, Grassy Plains. Golden during the dry season, green and dotted with wildflowers after the rains, It has perfectly adapted to continuous grazing, turning the Serengeti into heaven for large herbivores.
Every now and then, kopjes – 2.5 million year old rocky outcrops interrupt the infinite horizon. Being surrounded by millions of Wildebeest, Zebra and Gazelle is a lifetime experience. In their annual migration north, they stampede over open vast plains, plunge into crocodile infested rivers and are endlessly hunted by the lurking predators. The Serengeti is a world heritage site, biosphere reserve and one of the new seven wonders of Africa. You will have picnic lunch on the plains of Serengeti continuing with your game drive till evening returning to the lodge. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Serena Lodge .
DAY 3 – Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area
After an early breakfast, you will embark on a game drive to various regions of the park. You will then return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch, you will check out and begin your journey back to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
You will arrive at the Ngorongoro Serena lodge with the Ngorongoro craters view; just at the top of Ngorongoro Crater in the evening. Here you will check in, have dinner, and turn in early; in order to be ready for an early morning descent into the crater.Dinner and your overnight stay are at Serena Lodge.
DAY 4-Ngorongoro Crater – Zanzibar
After an early breakfast, you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater on a journey to find the black rhino; the hardest animal to spot. Inside this beautiful crater, you will experience Africa’s version of “Noah’s Ark”, with a vast variety of wildlife including elephants, hyenas, big cats, rhinos, and more. In the afternoon, you will stop for lunch at the hippo lake and then enjoy another game drive as you ascend back up to the crater rim. You will return to the lodge, check out and drive to Arusha airport for your afternoon flight back to zanzibar.
